Proposed 14 story, 400 room hotel - The proposed hotel would be built near the corner of Bob Hope Drive and Ramon Road. The project would include a 65,000 square foot casino expansion, a parking garage, a 90,000 square foot showroom and a meeting area. The tribe would also add a 350,000 square foot retail complex on the 40 acres on the west side of Bob Hope Drive. A pedestrian bridge would connect the retail complex to the casino. No time frame has been established but the environmental report could be finished by summer 2005.

Casino:
Opened on 7 April 2001. Open 24 hours. The 45,000 square foot casino features 1,140 slots, 48 gaming tables and bingo. There are six restaurants including the Prime 10 Steakhouse. There is also the Canyons Lounge. The Agua Caliente tribe became the first and only tribe in California to operate two casinos when it opened the Auga Caliente Casino in April 2001.

The Cahuilla Showroom seats up to 1,000 and features headline entertainment.

Daily shuttle service is available to and from downtown Palm Springs and area resorts.

The Barona Valley Ranch Resort and Casino, a new $260 million casino, resort hotel, wedding chapel, and golf course is under construction and is expected to be open January 2003. The new 300,000 square foot casino will be two stories about double it's current size. There will be 2,000 slots, video poker and keno machines and 54 table games. There will also be an 11 table poker room and a 125 seat off track betting area. The eight story hotel will have 397 rooms and 33 deluxe suites. There will be a pool, two tennis courts and a five story parking garage.

Friday 28 January 2005 - Greatly Expanded New Casino opening day draws large crowds. The new casino is 480,000 square feet or about 4 times as much as the building it replaces.

Bingo is very popular in the new 2,500 seat, 45,000 square foot Bingo hall called the Yuhaviatam Room meaning 'People of the Pines'. There are 99 poker and Vegas Style blackjack tables throughout the facility along with 2,000 slots.

San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino has a 425 foot, 6 level parking structure that holds over 1,200 stalls. The parking structure is equipped with four moving walkways on the bridge that transport customers from the parking structure to directly inside the casino.

Dining options includes the Serrano Buffet located on the first floor, adjacent to Tutu's Food Court.. Open seven days a week entrees include American, Italian and Asian dishes as well as fresh seafood and seasonal items. Hours are subject to change. The SportsWatch Grill is open seven days a week, 24 hours a day and features American Cuisine in a sports themed, casual atmosphere. Look for a change in 2005. The tribal owners plan to buy out the management contract of Trump Hotels and Casino Resorts which has overseen operations since April 2002. Expect a buyout of the operation contract prior to April 2005. This probably means a name change too, dropping the Trump name. Previously this casino was known as Spotlight 29 from 1994 to 2002. Plans in the works include the addition of a 190 room hotel and spa.

In the early stages, this casino sits on a 640 acres site along Highway 86. Construction has already started on the travel center and the casino is scheduled to break ground in February 2005.
